Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function for a large-scale Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power project in Rabigh. This role is key to ensuring plant integrity, reliability, and availability through robust preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance strategies.
What you'll do
- Lead the development and execution of the plant's maintenance strategy, aligning departmental goals with overall plant objectives.
- Manage preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs across mechanical, electrical, and I&C systems to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely upkeep of all assets.
- Oversee daily maintenance implementation, equipment inspections, and condition monitoring to mitigate risks and maximize availability.
- Lead outage planning and execution, including annual shutdowns of critical equipment, ensuring EHS, cost, and timeline objectives are achieved.
- Act as the technical authority on maintenance practices, guiding troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the EPC team during the project phase to ensure smooth commissioning, acceptance testing, and transfer of knowledge for CCGT systems.
- Drive inventory management of critical spares, oversee vendor/contractor performance, and ensure compliance with HSSE requirements.
- Provide regular reporting to the Plant General Manager, highlighting challenges, mitigations, and performance improvements.
- Mentor and develop the maintenance team (3-5 direct, 15-50 indirect reports), fostering a high-performance culture.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 12-15 years of maintenance experience in power generation, with proven expertise in CCGT plants and several years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance practices, downtime analysis, and CMMS tools (SAP desirable).
- Experience managing major equipment outages and coordinating with OEMs and contractors.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills with a track record of building effective teams.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Good understanding of PPP frameworks, contractual obligations, and risk management in large-scale EPC projects.
