Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all electrical and general maintenance activities within the facility. This role ensures equipment reliability, safety compliance, preventive maintenance planning, and efficient operation of electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Maintenance

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems (LT/HT panels, transformers, motors, generators).
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Manage troubleshooting of electrical breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Supervise electrical technicians and contractors.

2. Mechanical & General Maintenance

• Oversee maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets.
• Coordinate with production/operations teams to ensure minimal disruption.

3. Team Leadership & Management

• Lead and train maintenance staff.
• Prepare duty schedules and allocate tasks.
• Evaluate team performance and provide technical guidance.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to OSHA and local electrical safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain maintenance logs and compliance documentation.

5. Planning & Reporting

• Develop annual maintenance plans and shutdown schedules.
• Prepare maintenance reports (MTTR, MTBF, downtime analysis).
• Control maintenance costs and recommend improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical & facility maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, and power distribution.
• Experience in preventive maintenance systems (CMMS knowledge preferred).
• Leadership and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
