Maintenance Manager

What you will be doing

The Maintenance Manager reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for the Safety of all maintenance team members and the efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment, buildings and grounds. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for executing capital projects on time and within budget and preserving the overall health of all assets within the facility. The Maintenance Manager is part of the plant Lead Team and is expected to be a strategic partner to the Plant Manager.

  • Oversee safe, high‑quality, and cost‑effective maintenance work, including routine PMs, predictive reliability programs, emergency response, and facility/grounds upkeep.
  • Reduce unplanned downtime by supporting planned work preparation and collaborating to improve equipment performance and eliminate recurring failures.
  • Ensure compliance with state water‑discharge requirements and maintain all necessary environmental and operational standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing maintenance team, setting clear goals/KPIs and supporting continuous skill development.
  • Manage maintenance budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and legal requirements.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and HR to execute maintenance strategies, drive process improvements, and support people development.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across departments to enhance plant reliability, operations, and safety culture

What will make you successful?

  • 5+ years of Industrial or Mechanical Maintenance experience. (required)

  • 3+ years of Leadership experience. (required)

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent Engineering Degree or combination of technical school and experience (required)
