Iris Memory Care of Edmond is a small, specialized assisted living community dedicated exclusively to caring for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Position Summary

Iris Memory Care of Edmond is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Director to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, repair, safety, and appearance of our community. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, life safety compliance, building systems, grounds upkeep, apartment make-readies, vendor coordination, and maintaining a welcoming environment for Residents, families, and team members.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, mechanically skilled, and enjoys being part of a team-driven, mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventative maintenance and repairs for the building, grounds, and equipment
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Complete apartment make-readies and refurbishments after move-outs
• Coordinate and document life safety inspections and compliance requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for Residents and team members
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts
• Monitor maintenance supplies and inventory
• Assist with emergency preparedness, safety drills, and infection control practices
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Support a positive, team-oriented culture throughout the community

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities, janitorial, or related work preferred
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs independently
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call responsibilities as needed
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is a plus
