Job Purpose
Oversee the maintenance and operational aspects of facilities while managing and coordinating various projects related to facility improvements, renovations, and upgrades. Ensure that facilities are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Accountability Areas
- Facilities Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities maintenance program. Ensure routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities are conducted to uphold the condition of the facilities.
- Project Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate facility-related projects, including renovations, expansions, and equipment installations. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance and projects. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness in facility operations and project execution.
- Vendor Management: Select, contract, and manage vendors and contractors for maintenance and project-related services.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure facilities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of assets and equipment. Develop and implement strategies for optimal asset utilization and replacement.
- Space Planning: Plan and optimize space utilization within facilities.
