Maintenance Manager - Transportation

Position Overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and

servicing of trailers. The role includes managing a skilled team, implementing preventive

maintenance schedules, minimizing equipment downtime, ensuring safety compliance,

and optimizing operational efficiency in line with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance Operations:

o Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for trailers

o Monitor and ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime of key equipment.

2. Team Supervision:

o Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team to ensure quality and efficiency.

o Assign tasks based on team expertise and operational priorities.

3. Diagnostics and Repairs:

o Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in trailers

o Oversee or perform critical repairs, ensuring adherence to technical standards.

4. Safety and Compliance:

o Enforce safety protocols during maintenance activities.

o Ensure all equipment complies with regulatory and organizational safety

standards.

5. Vendor Coordination:

o Collaborate with external service providers for specialized repairs or overhauls.

o Evaluate vendor performance for quality and reliability.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

o Maintain detailed maintenance logs for trailers

o Provide regular reports on equipment performance, breakdown trends, and team

efficiency.

7. Continuous Improvement:

o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance equipment reliability

and reduce costs.

o Stay updated on advancements in trailer techniques and technology.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
