Maintenance Mechanic – Full Time
Starting at $18.25–$20.00/hr (based on experience)
Shift: 2:30pm–10:30pm

Perform mechanical repairs on facility equipment including wheelchairs, beds, carts, pumps, fans, HVAC systems, laundry machines, and kitchen equipment
Handle plumbing tasks such as pipe repairs (copper, steel, PVC), drain cleaning, and assembly/disassembly of sinks, toilets, showers, and baths
Maintain and repair furniture, doors, windows, wallboard, locks, floor tiles, and ceiling tiles
Erect and dismantle scaffolding; perform painting, plastering, and wallpapering as needed
Work with electrical systems (single and poly-phase), installing or repairing motors, starters, switches, and current-limiting devices
Support facility systems including paging and call light systems, boilers, and fire protection equipment

High school diploma or equivalent preferred trade school or technical training preferred
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in general maintenance, building systems, or a related trade
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
