Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Lead Mechanic and/or Facility Director, the Maintenance Mechanic will engage in repairs, upkeep, general maintenance and installation of machines and equipment. They will aid in the maintenance of the buildings, grounds and utility systems of the facility(s) and the School Sisters of St. Francis owned houses. The Maintenance Mechanic will perform a wide variety of maintenance/repair tasks requiring a good working knowledge of various trade fundamentals including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, etc. Experience with snow removal/lawn cutting required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience in building trades/facility maintenance
• Knowledge of machines and tools necessary including lawn care and snow removal
• Carpentry experience a bonus
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and painting

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
