Maintenance Mechanic

If so, H.H. Dobbins Inc in Lyndonville, NY would like to talk to you. We are searching for a Maintenance Mechanic.

This position requires hands on maintenance of a variety of apple packing machinery, refrigeration components and facilities. Experience with refrigeration, electrical troubleshooting and automated packing equipment with the ability to perform unsupervised tasks is desired.

We are hiring for 1st Shift 40 (+) hours per week. Our pack house operates 6 days week/ hours range from 6:45 am- 5:45 pm. You will need to be flexible in scheduling to cover preventive maintenance and emergency repairs. This may include working overtime, holiday’s and staying late when needed.

The maintenance mechanic will be required to maintain/repair production line equipment and do preventive maintenance on all machinery. You will also need to do some building maintenance along with apple pack-house maintenance so flexibility with the ability to change direction quickly is a must.

We would like you to have a minimum 3 years of experience in machine maintenance. Electrical experience, PLC experience, commercial electrical installation/repair preferred. Light fabrication abilities a plus.
