Diamondhead Property Owners Association is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for the Diamondhead Golf Course. Primary responsibility will be keeping the golf course equipment, golf carts and road equipment serviced and running. Your expertise will help maintain equipment reliability, safety standards, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Repair or replace faulty components including motors, belts, gears, wiring, switches, and valves with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and modify control programs as needed.
- Conduct welding repairs on machinery or structural components to restore integrity and functionality.
- Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings for accurate diagnostics and repairs.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule preventative tasks.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as painting or general upkeep to support a safe working environment.
- Lead or supervise maintenance projects or team members when required, ensuring timely completion and quality standards are met.
- Support manufacturing operations by minimizing downtime through quick response to equipment issues while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance roles with a strong background in mechanical repair and electrical troubleshooting.
- Hands-on knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, welding techniques, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting or general building upkeep is a plus.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is highly desirable.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience working within CMMS platforms for work order management is preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
