Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, building systems, and infrastructure. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and productive environment by performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventative maintenance strategies. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facility infrastructure to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to support equipment upkeep or facility modifications.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with team members on maintenance projects while adhering to safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in safety training sessions regularly.
• Support manufacturing operations by minimizing downtime through quick response to equipment failures and performing corrective actions promptly.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
• Proficiency with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for accurate troubleshooting.
• Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in automation environments.
• Skilled in welding techniques for fabrication or repair purposes.
• Excellent customer service skills to coordinate with production teams and external vendors as needed.
• Ability to communicate fluently both verbally and in writing for clear documentation and teamwork. Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
