Maintenance Mechanic
We’re looking for a Production Maintenance Technician to support our fast-paced manufacturing operations. This position focuses on real-time equipment troubleshooting, repair, and upkeep across multiple production areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Equipment Support
- Diagnose and repair production machinery including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot motors, drives, relays, sensors, gearboxes, conveyors, and automation-driven equipment.
- Perform adjustments, alignments, and component replacements during production.
- Preventive Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Maintain lubrication programs and equipment care standards.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately.
- Technical Skills
- Interpret manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Utilize standard and specialty tools to perform high‑quality repairs.
- Perform basic PLC interaction for diagnostics.
- Cross‑Functional Support
- Work closely with production, sanitation, and quality teams.
- Assist with machinery changeovers, calibration checks, and equipment setup.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area always.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on mechanical maintenance experience (industrial, manufacturing, automotive, or similar).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in variable environments.
- Ability to work independently and handle priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in food, dairy, or beverage manufacturing.
- Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and controls.
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, heat exchangers, fillers, and conveyors.
Schedule & Pay:
- Wednesday–Saturday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Starting pay is $26-$32/hour.
- Occasional overtime may be required to support maintenance activities and production schedules.
