Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facility’s equipment, machinery, and systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, and executing repairs swiftly. Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and other equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose mechanical failures using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Repair and service appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and related equipment with precision and attention to detail.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues accurately.
• Assist with construction or installation projects involving mechanical systems or equipment upgrades.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records for all repairs performed.
• Lead or support team members during maintenance activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and tasks are completed effectively.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance mechanic in an industrial or commercial setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment repair.
• Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and diagnostic tools used for troubleshooting.
• Experience working with HVAC systems—including air conditioning—and refrigeration units is highly desirable.
• Background in construction or building maintenance is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide or collaborate with team members during maintenance projects.
