Pay: $22.00–$33.00 per hour (based on experience)

Location: Northeast Philadelphia, PA

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift or Night Shift Available

Guaranteed Pay Increases: 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months

Southwark Metal Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Maintenance Technician to help keep our manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy troubleshooting machinery, repairing equipment, and working in a hands-on industrial environment, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose equipment failures and respond quickly to minimize downtime
• Work with motors, circuit breakers, control panels, wiring, and electrical systems
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Install and service electrical conduit, switches, sensors, and related equipment
• Work with 120V, 240V, and 480V electrical systems
• Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and maintenance software
• Document repairs and maintenance activities using computer-based systems

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician, or similar role
• Technical school, trade school, military maintenance experience, or equivalent hands-on training is a plus
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and machinery
• Familiarity with motors, controls, wiring, circuit breakers, and electrical systems
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, or production equipment is a plus
• Ability to work safely and independently in a manufacturing environment
• Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation
