Where you’ll work…

This position is located at our Jefferson, WI manufacturing facility.

Our Jefferson plant is a state-of-the-industry frozen pizza production facility featuring high-speed automated production lines, advanced packaging systems, and 24-hour operations.

Our Maintenance Team contributes to Palermo’s success by ensuring that the plant operates at a world-class level with production uptimes over 98%.

When you’ll work…

We are currently hiring an experienced Maintenance Lead for our 3rd Shift team.

Shift Hours:
10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Sunday through Thursday
Friday as needed based on business demands

What you’ll do…

• Lead our maintenance team to support production through maintaining and repairing all production lines, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Coach, develop, and inspire the team through day-to-day projects to install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production, packaging, and throughout the plant.
• Be involved in all aspects of equipment from installation to rebuilding, fitting, and aligning equipment to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Demonstrate and share strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills on controls such as PLCs, VFDs, servos, robotics, and programmable devices.

• Proven ability to operate safely by following all food and employee safety guidelines.
• 8+ years of experience leading a team of mechanics through mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, and electrical repair to support seamless production functionality and deliver daily production goals.
• Organized and methodical approach to problem solving — often in time-sensitive, tight-deadline situations where accuracy is critical.
• A lifelong learner with a strong interest in mastering new mechanical technologies.
• A people-focused leader who promotes team growth and development through excellent communication skills and is ready to step in and work alongside the team to ensure Palermo’s succeeds.
