General Summary Statement

To repair or replace parts of hospital Mechanical equipment and parts of building requiring semi skilled work in different types of trades.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Familiar with Building maintenance including: mechanical, electrical, plumbing and hospital equipment systems.
• Some computer skills are necessary.
• Assist with snow removal, and other duties as required.
• Effectively carries out repairs to the plumbing, communications, HVAC and electrical system, throughout the Hospital.
• Accurately troubleshoots and repairs various hospital equipment.
• Proficient in the use of the Hospital’s energy management system.
• Keeps accurate records and logs as necessary.
• Demonstrates the ability to carry out routine functions in the power plant such as blow downs, water analysis and minor troubleshooting and repairs.
• Responds to all emergency and STAT calls

Education Training and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Commercial trades such as HV/AC, Electrical, is preferred

Plumbing experience or certifications is highly preferred

Licensure/Certification

Valid Driver’s License
