Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical (Foundry)Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance for all mechanical foundry equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot:
• Moulding lines (automatic/manual)
• Sand plant, mixers, conveyors
• Shot blasting machines
• Ladles, lifting systems, hydraulics & pneumatics
• Improve equipment reliability by monitoring and reducing MTTR and increasing MTBF.
• Conduct root cause analysis for repeated failures.
• Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities comply with safety standards.
• Manage mechanical spare parts and vendor coordination.
• Support installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Lead and guide mechanical maintenance technicians.

• Daily Mechanical Breakdown Report
• Preventive Maintenance (PM) Schedule & Completion Report
• MTBF & MTTR Analysis Report (Mechanical)
• Machine Downtime & Root Cause Analysis Report
• Mechanical Spares Consumption Report
• Monthly Maintenance Performance Summary
• Safety Audit & Compliance Checklist

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a Cast Iron / SG Iron foundry.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors, and mechanical drives.
• Hands-on experience with TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and RCA preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
