Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to lead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting (MEPF) operations across the resort and adventure park. The ideal candidate will ensure uninterrupted operations, compliance with safety standards, and efficient maintenance of all utilities and engineering systems.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, STP/WTP, and utility systems.
- Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all MEP equipment.
- Lead root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Provide engineering support to all operational departments for guest-impacting issues.
Projects & Upgrades
- Manage MEP scope for new developments, renovations, and capacity expansions.
- Review MEP drawings, BOQs, and project specifications for feasibility and compliance.
- Supervise MEP contractors and ensure adherence to quality, timelines, and safety standards.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to all statutory norms, IS/NBC codes, fire safety, and electrical compliance.
- Coordinate statutory inspections and renewals for critical systems.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drills.
- Drive energy-saving and resource-optimization initiatives.
Team & Vendor Management
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Manage manpower planning, shift schedules, and performance evaluations.
- Handle vendor relationships, AMCs, service contracts, and certification of invoices.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain asset registers, service logs, breakdown records, and statutory documentation.
- Prepare monthly reports on utility consumption, major events, and engineering KPIs.
- Ensure all as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and SOPs remain updated.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
- OR Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with extensive relevant experience
Experience:
- 8–12 years of MEP operations experience in luxury resorts, hotels, mixed-use developments, or large facilities.
