Maintenance Officer

• Install wiring systems, lighting, switchboards, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Set up electrical control systems and distribution panels in buildings or factories.
• Inspect and test electrical systems to identify problems.
• Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns or hazards.
• Replace or repair faulty wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
• Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing devices.
• Repair short circuits, overloads, or faulty components.
• Follow company and legal safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, IEC standards).
• Ensure systems are grounded and meet electrical codes.
• Maintain logs of repairs, installations, and inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians.
• Provide input during design and planning of new installations.
