Maintenance & Operations Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance & Operations Officer to manage and support overnight operations for our U.S.-based facilities while working remotely from our back-office operations center. This role requires strong English communication skills, the ability to handle remote coordination efficiently, and a composed, solution-focused mindset. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless night-time operations, handle escalations, coordinate with on-site teams and vendors, and maintain smooth workflows outside standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage overnight maintenance and operational activities across U.S. facilities, ensuring continuity and quick resolution of issues
  • Serve as the main point of contact during night shifts for maintenance concerns and operational escalations
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for repairs, maintenance tasks, and operational support, ensuring timely and quality service delivery
  • Respond promptly to emergencies or unexpected maintenance issues, providing clear communication and effective solutions
  • Track, update, and close maintenance tickets and work orders through internal systems
  • Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, incidents, and escalations during the shift
  • Prepare comprehensive end-of-shift reports to ensure smooth transition to the day operations team
  • Monitor vendor performance, maintenance budgets, and compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational standards
  • Communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders across different time zones

Requirements:

  • Strong command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage maintenance and operational tasks remotely with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in maintenance coordination, facilities management, or night shift operations
  • Familiarity with maintenance procedures, operational workflows, and safety compliance standards
