JOB PURPOSE:
ExecuJet MRO Services is currently seeking a suitably qualified experienced Maintenance Planner to fill a vacancy within the Planning Department. The main objective of the role is to perform all the planning functions and activities independently and efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to guide junior team members with best practices and advice while assisting the department to improve continuously improve Customer Service levels and processes.
- Accepting work which is only in accordance with the Organization’s capability as detailed in MOE 1.9 and Component Capability List EJME-MOR Part 3, and for which approved data is available.
- Liaising with the Maintenance Supervisors for planning of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, hanger slots and allocation of manpower resources.
- Compiling, issuing, and controlling Task Cards, Work Orders, quotes, warranty claims, parts, tooling as relate to planned and ongoing projects.
- Coordinating customer ordered work, defects, data, correspondence, reports, requests and updates while keeping Maintenance Supervisors / Project Engineers informed.
- Transposing maintenance requirements into work tasks while maintaining awareness that he/she holds no authority to deviate from the maintenance data.
- Considering human performance limitations, Critical Maintenance Tasks, Independent Inspections, Identical Maintenance Tasks, CDCCL, ETOPS or tasks otherwise critical to aircraft operations, when planning work.
- Reviewing airworthiness data as required for applicability to products maintained.
- Ensuring proper completion of Work Orders prior to closing and issuance of a CRS.
- Reviewing, controlling and forwarding technical records per prescribed processes.
- Ensuring the customer is supplied with details and agreed data entries to update aircraft, engine, APU logbooks, and computerized records as agreed.
- Safekeeping and update of logbooks for customer aircraft while on maintenance.
- Ensuring the proper management of 3rd parties contracted to perform work.
- Contributing to the daily planning briefing by providing perspective on new, current and forecasted projects, areas of concern and suggesting actions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
- Solid background in Aircraft Maintenance/CAMO planning department.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the aviation industry.
- Able to navigate aircraft technical data.
Desirable:
- Reliable and flexible to shift work.
- Computer literate.
- Team player.
- Business Aviation Experience.

WORKING HOURS:
Monday to Friday 7:00 to 15:30.
Or 4 on/ 4 off 12hr shift rotation.
SHIFT WORK WILL BE APPLIED TO THIS POSITION.
