About the Role

As a General Maintenance Technician, you’ll perform hands-on maintenance and repairs to keep our industrial equipment and facilities running smoothly. With expertise in general maintenance, electrical systems, and welding, you’ll ensure minimal downtime in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, focusing on mechanical and electrical systems.
Perform welding tasks (e.g., MIG, TIG, or Stick) to repair or fabricate metal components and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and control panels.
Maintain facility systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and lighting, as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and welding safety standards.
Document maintenance activities and suggest improvements to equipment reliability.
Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 2+ years in general maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing setting, with hands-on welding and electrical experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick); knowledge of electrical systems (wiring, motors, control panels); ability to use tools like multimeters, welders, and power tools.
Safety: Familiarity with OSHA standards, electrical codes, and welding safety practices.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, climb, and stand for extended periods in demanding environments.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Compensation

Hourly Rate Range: $25 - $29 per hour
Actual compensation will be based on experience and job-related skills.
