- Facility Maintenance: Conducting regular inspections of resort buildings, including guest rooms, restaurants, recreational facilities, and common areas, to identify and address maintenance issues such as plumbing leaks, electrical problems, or structural damage.
- Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and repairs on resort equipment such as HVAC systems, elevators, kitchen appliances, and laundry machines to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Emergency Response: Being available to respond to maintenance emergencies such as power outages, plumbing backups, or equipment failures, and taking immediate action to resolve the issue and minimize disruption to guests.
- Guest Room Maintenance: Conducting routine maintenance checks in guest rooms to ensure that fixtures, appliances, and amenities are in working order and addressing any maintenance issues reported by guests promptly and efficiently.
- Safety and Security: Assisting with maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and staff by ensuring that fire alarms, smoke detectors, emergency exits, and other safety systems are in working order and conducting regular safety inspections.
- Inventory Management: Keeping track of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment and ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet the needs of the resort. This may involve ordering supplies, organizing inventory storage areas, and managing inventory budgets.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with other resort departments, such as housekeeping, front desk, and food and beverage, to coordinate maintenance activities and address any maintenance-related issues that arise during guest stays
