Maintenance Staff

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will perform a variety of maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems to maintain a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. Your expertise will help prevent downtime, extend equipment lifespan, and support the overall functionality of our operations. Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, and building infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control automated equipment systems.
• Perform welding tasks for repairs or fabrication needs with proper safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Assist with facilities maintenance projects including residential painting, carpentry, or minor construction work as needed.
• Supervise or coordinate with contractors or team members during complex repair projects to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in electrical work, including reading schematics and using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
• Hands-on experience with welding techniques and residential painting is a plus.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks.
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills for interacting with internal teams or external vendors professionally.
• Leadership or supervising experience is desirable for overseeing maintenance projects or junior staff members.
