Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Staff member to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our property through hands-on repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for our guests and support team.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting, welding, and general repairs to uphold property standards.
• Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
• Operate tools such as welders and electrical testing devices to complete repairs accurately.
• Supervise or assist with maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed on schedule.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Respond promptly to repair requests from hotel staff or management to minimize downtime.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality, manufacturing, or residential setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience and familiarity with schematics.
• Hands-on welding skills and proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems using tools like Ohmmeters.
• Supervising experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership in team coordination or project oversight.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
