Job Summary:
The Hotel Maintenance Staff is responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep and repair of the hotel’s infrastructure, equipment, and facilities. This role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and responding to guest or management repair requests promptly and professionally to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Conduct regular inspections of systems and equipment to identify issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance workshop and equipment.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Ensure all hotel areas are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.
- Work closely with the housekeeping and front desk teams to minimize guest inconvenience.
- Follow health and safety protocols and hotel policies at all times.
- Maintain maintenance logs and reports for all repairs and inspections.
- Monitor inventory levels and report needs for maintenance supplies and equipment.
