• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters.
• Making sure rooms are maintained
• Manage facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC systems, lighting, and residential painting projects to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule maintenance activities, and maintain accurate records.
• Supervise or assist in supervising maintenance team members or contractors during projects or routine tasks.
• Read and interpret schematics for electrical wiring, mechanical systems, or facility layouts to ensure precise repairs and installations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally.
• Lead safety initiatives by adhering to protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure work environment.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting with hands-on experience using tools like ohmmeters.
• Ability to read schematics for electrical circuits and mechanical systems accurately.
• Skilled in welding techniques suitable for repair or fabrication projects.
• Knowledge of residential painting techniques for facility upgrades or aesthetic improvements.
• Supervising experience demonstrating leadership capabilities in team coordination or project management.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
