We are currently seeking to fill a position for Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community. This involves ensuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The Maintenance Supervisor will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and supervise maintenance technicians and contractors.
The Maintenance Supervisor diagnoses and performs minor and routine maintenance/repair, as directed on a daily basis:

Electrical - Examines and repairs electric circuits and components

Plumbing - Repairs and replaces piping systems and fixtures including opening clogged drains.

HVAC - Examines, diagnoses and repairs
- Appliances - Examines diagnoses and repairs all components of all major appliances.

Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings.
-
Tile, carpet, flooring.
-
Roofing, gutters, fasteners.
-
Interior/exterior lights.
-
Gas fixtures and appliances (where applicable).
-
Doors, cabinets and windows.
-
Hot water heaters, gas and electric.
-
Door locks and mailboxes.
-
Security systems (where applicable).
-
Ceiling leaks.
-
Walls - Repair damaged plaster/drywall surfaces of walls and ceilings matching existing surfaces.

Paint - Repairs and paints any areas required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Experience supervising 10+ staff members.

Minimum of 5 years multi-family maintenance experience required

Technical training in one or more trades preferred

Must have reliable transportation to use for work purposes

This position requires personal contact with residents

Proper and professional conduct is essential at all times

Randomly pull completed work orders and investigate to determine if the repairs were performed in a timely and proper manner.

Must maintain a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance

Ability to handle all of the physical demands of the positions, including ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

Position requires overtime, holiday and weekend work.
Qualification, Skills, and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Technical training in one or more trades preferred.

Minimum of 5 years multi-family maintenance experience required.

Possess an advanced understanding of principles and procedures of building maintenance.

Capable of performing sustained manual labor.
