Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Maintenance Supervisor based in Bhunava, Gondal, Rajkot. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, ensuring smooth operation of machines and utilities, and minimizing downtime. Daily tasks include planning and executing preventive maintenance, supervising maintenance staff, handling breakdowns, maintaining spare parts inventory, and coordinating with production and quality teams to ensure uninterrupted workflow and equipment reliability.

Job Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance:

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all machines, equipment, and utilities to ensure uninterrupted production.

Breakdown Maintenance:

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

Team Supervision:

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team, assign tasks, monitor work quality, and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.

Spare Parts & Tools Management:

• Maintain an adequate stock of spare parts, tools, and consumables. Ensure proper usage and timely requisition of materials.

Machine Installation & Commissioning:

• Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines or equipment as per company standards.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, equipment history, and daily reports. Prepare weekly and monthly maintenance summaries for management.

Vendor Coordination:

• Communicate with service providers and vendors for maintenance work, annual service contracts, and procurement of parts.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure all maintenance activities follow company safety norms, ISO standards, and environmental guidelines.

Cost Control & Improvement:

• Optimize maintenance costs through effective planning, resource utilization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Support to Production:

• Work closely with the Production and Quality teams to maintain machine performance and achieve production targets efficiently.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the maintenance of hydraulic machinery, pumps, or manufacturing equipment.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machine manuals.

Computer Skills:

• Basic knowledge of MS Office, maintenance records, and reporting tools.

Other Requirements:

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a team effectively.
• Good communication and coordination with production and quality departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
