Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive mechanical and electrical knowledge, and expertise in industrial maintenance. This role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring the proper functioning of diesel-powered equipment, and maintaining safety and efficiency standards across the facility. The Diesel Maintenance Supervisor will play a critical role in facilities management, project execution, and maintenance management to support continuous production operations.
Duties

- Lead and supervise the maintenance team responsible for diesel engines, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and industrial equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical (high voltage and low voltage), and HVAC systems utilizing schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Manage maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to high voltage, low voltage, and other hazardous conditions.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, schematics reading, and facilities management.
- Monitor equipment condition using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation tools to predict failures before they occur.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure adherence to OSHA regulations.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance environments.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge related to diesel engines, HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high voltage), and general facilities management.
- Strong background in electrical troubleshooting using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Experience with CMMS software for maintenance management.
- Familiarity with project management principles for coordinating large-scale maintenance or upgrade projects.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems used in manufacturing settings.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and vendors.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining safety standards.
