Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring optimal operation of manufacturing and industrial equipment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations, including preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of work.
- Manage maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset history, and inventory.
- Oversee electrical systems maintenance, including high voltage and low voltage equipment, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting with tools such as ohmmeters.
- Maintain mechanical systems involving HVAC units, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial machinery, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with project management teams on facility upgrades or new installations involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical work (including high voltage), machinery operation, and general facilities management.
- Conduct inspections using schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or management experience within industrial or manufacturing maintenance environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise in industrial settings.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management and record keeping.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, facilities management principles, and safety standards related to high voltage and low voltage electrical work.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team while managing multiple projects efficiently.
