Duties:

• Supervise, and manage the performance of maintenance team members and ensure that all team members follow established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies

• Coordinates with contractors and venders making sure insurance and licenses are current

• Conducts regular inspections of all Life Safety Systems including fire extinguishers, sprinkler and alarm systems

• Maintains inventory control for all general supplies, parts and equipment

• Manage the department within budgetary guidelines tracking inventory usage and ordering supplies when necessary

• Understands and implements the role of the department's safety and disaster plan

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must have, as a minimum, one year of experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility.
