Maintenance Team Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Maintenance Team Lead to oversee maintenance operations across our multiple locations including Miners Landing at Pier 57 (Seattle waterfront), The Crab Pot Bellevue, and Enzo's Issaquah. This role requires a hands-on professional with comprehensive technical expertise across multiple disciplines and proven leadership capabilities to ensure optimal facility operations and exceptional guest experiences at all properties.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Maintenance

• Perform and oversee plumbing repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance including water lines, drains, fixtures, and backflow systems across all locations
• Maintain and repair restaurant equipment including ovens, fryers, refrigeration units, ice machines, dishwashers, and specialized preparation equipment
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on attractions, rides, and arcade equipment at Miners Landing Pier 57 to ensure safe operation and compliance with safety regulations
• Execute general facilities maintenance across all properties including HVAC systems, electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, and building systems
• Travel between locations as needed to address maintenance priorities and emergencies
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions quickly to minimize downtime and maintain seamless guest experiences
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and equipment records for all properties

Leadership & Management

• Direct, schedule, and supervise the maintenance team to ensure efficient daily operations
• Assign work orders and prioritize tasks based on urgency and operational needs
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to maintenance team members
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
• Foster a collaborative team environment focused on safety and quality workmanship

Project Management

• Plan and manage ongoing maintenance projects from conception to completion
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers as needed
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Communicate project status and updates to management and ownership

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations, building codes, and company safety standards
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce proper use of PPE and safety protocols
• Coordinate equipment inspections and certifications as required
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations promptly and effectively

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a multi-faceted facility environment
• Demonstrated proficiency in plumbing, commercial kitchen equipment, and general facilities maintenance
• Experience with attractions, rides, or amusement equipment maintenance strongly preferred
• 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel between Seattle, Bellevue, and Issaquah locations
• Availability to respond to emergency calls and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Comfortable working in a waterfront/marine environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade certifications in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or related fields
• Experience in hospitality, entertainment, waterfront attractions, or theme park environments
• Restaurant or commercial kitchen maintenance experience
• Project management experience or certification
• Forklift and aerial lift certifications
