Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech II to join our team at Villas on Independence in Port Lavaca, TX. The Maintenance Tech II will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on residential units and common areas within the property. This individual must have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems
• Repair plumbing issues such as leaks and clogs
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
• Perform general carpentry work as needed
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Ensure all maintenance work meets safety standards
• Assist with property inspections and make recommendations for improvements

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance or related field
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
