Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and facilities maintenance, capable of troubleshooting complex systems and performing repairs efficiently. The Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in maintaining safety standards, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous production processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and machinery
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems using schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and program automation systems
- Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting as needed for facility upkeep
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation to identify issues and implement solutions
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and manage inventory
- Lead or supervise maintenance projects and coordinate with other departments to minimize production disruptions
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Assist in supervising or mentoring junior team members or apprentices in maintenance tasks
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical circuits and systems
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in welding, residential painting, and general repair work
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and CMMS software systems
- Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Ohmmeters is highly desirable
- Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards

Pay: $15.78 - $32.25 per hour
