Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, HVAC systems, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
- Ensure all equipment in cleanroom and controlled environments operates according to GMP standards.
- Support equipment installation, calibration, and validation activities.
- Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
- Follow gowning procedures and other hygiene protocols when entering classified or cleanroom areas.
- Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and process efficiency.
- Ensure proper inventory of spare parts and tools is maintained.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
- 2–5 years of maintenance experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, or similar regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with production equipment such as mixers, blenders, tablet presses, encapsulation machines, etc., is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and equipment manuals.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and wear appropriate PPE and gowning as per classified area requirements.
