Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have solid unit turn experience and a strong foundation in all aspects of general apartment maintenance. This role plays a key part in maintaining the physical condition of the property, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete all assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with move-in/move-out processes; prepare and repair units for new residents
• Light plumbing: repair and installation of faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, etc.
• Light electrical: troubleshooting and basic repairs
• Light HVAC troubleshooting and thermostat installation
• Install and repair door locks, deadbolts, and hardware
• Perform door removal and reinstallation
• Repair appliances and perform basic maintenance
• Re-screen or replace window screens
• Paint units and perform wall texturing, drywall repairs, and wallpapering
• Install dishwashers
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in maintenance areas and workspaces
• Ensure the property maintains high aesthetic appeal and safety standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Degree or certificate from a two-year technical school program preferred
• Proven success in a similar maintenance or facilities role
• General knowledge of apartment maintenance procedures and standards
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Basic math skills and the ability to use standard tools and equipment
• Valid Driver’s License required
• First Aid Certification may be required

Wage:

• Based on skill and experience level

Work Schedule:

• Monday- Friday
• 8:30 am- 5:00 pm
• On-call/ Must be available for after hours and emergencies

Pay: $22.30 - $26.86 per hour
