Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician – Sumter, SC

Pay: $ 28-$38/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (2-2-3 rotation, days or nights – every other weekend)

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Sumter, SC. In this role, you’ll keep our production equipment running smoothly by troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery across the plant.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control systems issues
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and repair motors (110V–4160V), PLCs, and control devices
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders
• Install and maintain piping, valves, and other plant systems
• Perform basic fabrication, welding, and machining as needed
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies

What You Bring

Required:

• AAS degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance or 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with HS Diploma/GED
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of PLCs and control systems
• Good communication, computer, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (Panama schedule, days or nights)
