**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our facilities and equipment. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and ensure safety standards are met.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, diagnostic tools, and maintenance software.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts, if necessary.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects as necessary.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders for extended periods.
