Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and utilities to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues and update control systems as needed.
- Conduct welding repairs on machinery or structural components to ensure safety and operational integrity.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and general upkeep to support a safe working environment.
- Supervise or mentor junior team members or contractors during maintenance projects to ensure quality standards are met.
- Lead small teams during complex repairs or upgrades, demonstrating leadership skills in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times during maintenance activities.
- Support customer service efforts by ensuring equipment reliability that meets production demands efficiently.
Requirements
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems in compliance with state and local codes.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics on equipment and systems.
- Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components for safety and functionality.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, plumbing, conveyors, and mechanical infrastructure.
- Assist with machine setup and modifications for production needs.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- State of Texas Licensed Electrician – Journeyman or higher (must provide documentation).
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial or facilities maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices.

Pay: $30.89 - $40.56 per hour
