Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment, paint line systems, compressors, and utilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic breakdowns efficiently.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime and report recurring issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain logbooks, maintenance records, and checklists for all machines and utilities.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery and plant systems.
• Support the production team by addressing urgent maintenance issues during operations.
• Inspect and maintain welding, cutting, CNC, bending, powder coating, and conveyor systems.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during maintenance work.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for outsourced maintenance jobs.
• Identify and suggest improvements for energy saving, safety, and equipment performance.

Requirements:

• Education: ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication industry (preferably metal or modular furniture industry).
• Skills:
• Strong mechanical & electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of PLC, VFD, and panel wiring (preferred)
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Preventive maintenance planning
• Safety awareness and adherence to maintenance SOPs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
