Maintenance Technician

Starting Pay - $23 - $28/hour, negotiable based on experience!

Common tasks

• General building maintenance including light electrical.
• Repairs on material handling equipment.
• Regularly PM, repair and make adjustments to the ammonia refrigeration system.
• Participate on the ‘on call’ schedule for rounds and emergencies.
• Work with our vendors to perform major repairs and change outs.
• Is able to analyze data from the system in order to troubleshoot and make proactive adjustments.
• Communicate any needed parts, supplies and inventory needs.
• Participate in any required training, both safety and operations.

This position will have regular exposure to our commercial refrigeration system and opportunities for hands-on training with ammonia refrigeration. Company will sponsor certification as an ammonia operator for the appropriate candidate.

Preferred Experience

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC would be a plus.
• Experience with Ammonia Refrigeration would be a plus.
