Maintenance Technician

A. Fabrication & Assembly

• Carry out fitting, assembly, and mechanical fabrication work as per drawings.
• Use fabrication tools such as grinders, drills, cutters, measuring instruments.
• Fit and assemble metal parts, subassemblies, frames, brackets, supports, etc.
• Perform sheet metal fitting, alignment, drilling, tapping, reaming, etc.
• Operate fabrication machines (shearing, bending, rolling – if applicable).

B. Technical Skills

• Able to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of materials like MS, SS, aluminium, structural steel.
• Knowledge of tolerances, fits, and fabrication standards.

C. Quality & Inspection

• Perform self-inspection using vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Ensure fabrication meets quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Follow SOPs and maintain 5S standards on shop floor.

D. Safety & Maintenance

• Follow safety protocols while handling tools and machines.
• Basic maintenance of hand tools and fabrication equipment.

Skills & Competencies

• Good mechanical aptitude and hands-on fabrication skills.
• Ability to read drawings and weld symbols (basic).
• Physical stamina and precision in work.
• Teamwork and discipline.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,086.00 - ₹24,699.10 per month
