Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure the smooth operation, safety, and functionality of all hotel equipment, guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. The role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:1. Preventive & Routine Maintenance

• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, kitchen equipment, pumps, boilers, and generators.
• Maintain maintenance logs and update checklists as required.

2. Repairs & Troubleshooting

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or staff.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to:
• Electrical systems
• Plumbing systems
• Air-conditioning / refrigeration
• Carpentry, painting, and minor civil works
• Kitchen and laundry equipment
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Follow all hotel safety protocols and ensure safe working conditions.
• Ensure compliance with fire & safety regulations, including fire alarm checks, emergency lighting, and firefighting equipment readiness.
• Report hazardous situations and take corrective actions.

4. Equipment & Inventory Management

• Monitor maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
• Requisition materials and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper care and usage of tools and machinery.

5. Guest Service

• Attend guest room calls with courtesy and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain guest satisfaction by ensuring minimal downtime of equipment and facilities.

6. Teamwork & Documentation

• Coordinate with housekeeping, front office, and other departments for repair and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain daily activity reports and update job completion records.
• Support major repair works and renovation projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Plumbing, Refrigeration, or Mechanical trade.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel or hospitality maintenance (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
