Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair various equipment issues using schematics and technical manuals, including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical devices.
Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum safety standards.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, demonstrating leadership qualities while coordinating tasks with other team members.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and scheduled inspections for compliance and tracking purposes.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions.

Requirements

Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), or mechanical systems.
Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and related mechanical components.
Ability to perform equipment repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Construction or building maintenance experience is a plus for understanding facility infrastructure.
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
