Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes swiftly.
• Repair or replace faulty components on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, appliances, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
• Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during facility upgrades or installations while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and inspection reports for compliance and future reference.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize operational disruptions and uphold safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician with strong appliance repair skills across various systems.
• Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R, refrigeration, air conditioning, and equipment repair.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting purposes.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration units.
• Experience in construction or facility maintenance projects is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or lead small teams effectively.
• Strong communication skills to document work clearly and collaborate with team members effectively.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Additional experience with HVAC/R certifications or licenses.
• Familiarity with appliance repair beyond standard systems.
