Maintenance Technician | Saratoga Springs, NY

NRP is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Reserve at Saratoga Springs, in Saratoga Springs, NY. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appearance of the community while providing timely, high‑quality service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned

  • Complete apartment turns, refurbishments, and renovations according to company standards

  • Conduct daily property walks to ensure curb appeal, safety, and quality standards

  • Maintain organized maintenance areas and inventory of supplies and materials

  • Respond to and complete service requests in accordance with company expectations

  • Report safety concerns and participate in safety meetings

  • Maintain awareness of property‑specific conditions (e.g., asbestos)

  • Accurately document all maintenance work performed

  • Support property operations in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, including coordinating vendors, ordering supplies, and working with the Community Manager

  • Participate in on‑call rotations for after‑hours, emergency, and weekend maintenance needs

  • Assist other properties and run errands as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • CFC Universal Certification preferred (must be obtained within 90 days of hire if not certified)

  • 3–4 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a residential or multifamily setting

  • Strong working knowledge of general maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances)

  • Basic computer proficiency preferred

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

This position offers a salary range between $20.00 and $24.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
