Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance of facility equipment and machinery. This hands-on role is critical to maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable production operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and machinery to support production requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, including variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE and strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
• Accurately complete maintenance work orders, logs, and documentation in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify unsafe conditions or potential failures.
• Assist with facility security needs assigned, including securing equipment or areas when required.
• Follow all company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and Safety Manual requirements.
• Maintain awareness of quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance objectives; report quality concerns, unsafe acts, or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Work collaboratively with other maintenance technicians and departments to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and ANSI standards.
• Working knowledge of variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Ability to work at heights ranging from 1’ to 50’.
• Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle tools, machinery, and equipment near moving mechanical components.
• Computer literate, including basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a diverse workforce.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
