Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance of facility equipment and machinery. This hands-on role is critical to maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable production operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and machinery to support production requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, including variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE and strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
- Accurately complete maintenance work orders, logs, and documentation in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify unsafe conditions or potential failures.
- Assist with facility security needs assigned, including securing equipment or areas when required.
- Follow all company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and Safety Manual requirements.
- Maintain awareness of quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance objectives; report quality concerns, unsafe acts, or unsafe conditions promptly.
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance technicians and departments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and ANSI standards.
- Working knowledge of variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Ability to work at heights ranging from 1’ to 50’.
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle tools, machinery, and equipment near moving mechanical components.
- Computer literate, including basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a diverse workforce.
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
