Maintenance Technician – Food Production


Schedule: Full-time (shift flexibility required)

Compensation: $32 or more + benefits

What you’ll be doing


Keep production running

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues across production equipment
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimize downtime
  • Work across multiple areas of the facility to keep operations moving

Own preventative maintenance

  • Run and improve preventative maintenance schedules
  • Catch issues before they turn into bigger problems
  • Keep equipment operating efficiently and reliably

Work closely with the team

  • Partner with production and operations to support daily workflow
  • Assist with equipment setups, changeovers, and process improvements
  • Be the go-to when something needs to get fixed—fast

Hands-on problem solving

  • Fabricate or modify parts when needed
  • Coordinate with vendors and source parts quickly
  • Find practical solutions—not just temporary fixes

Support the facility

  • Handle light facility maintenance (basic electrical, plumbing, general upkeep)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

What they’re looking for

  • 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (production/manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
  • Someone who can work independently and figure things out without hand-holding

Nice to have

  • Experience in food production, cold storage, or regulated environments
  • Familiarity with high-speed production equipment
  • Pneumatics, conveyors, or automated systems (PLC exposure is a plus)
