Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across various systems to maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment. Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance on refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform equipment repairs and replacements efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and safety compliance.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex system problems accurately.
• Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing technical support for installation or upgrades of building systems.
• Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects, demonstrating leadership qualities while maintaining safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts used for accountability and future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting complex systems effectively.
• Hands-on experience with forklift repair, Plumbing, Elecrical, Snow Removal, Lawn Mowing, General Maintanence and refrigeration equipment is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with construction experience is highly desirable for versatile problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to perform equipment repair tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects.
• Excellent communication skills to document work accurately and collaborate with team members effectively.
